Getting Started with GailGPT
Starting a Conversation Simply type your question in natural language—no special formatting or keywords required. GailGPT understands context and supports follow-up questions within the same conversation.
Best Practices for Questions
- Be clear and specific: "Summarize the claims policy for commercial auto coverage"
- Include relevant context when asking follow-up questions
- Upload supporting documents when asking about specific policies or procedures

File Limitations
- Standard Size Limit: 5MB per file
- Large File Support: Available with Gails configured for Comprehensive thinking style
- Retention: Files are stored for the duration of the conversation
- Deletion: Contact support@meetgail.com to request file deletion
Upload Process
- Click the upload button (paperclip icon)
- Select your file(s)
- Wait for processing confirmation
- Ask questions about the uploaded content
Large File Upload Process
For files larger than 5MB, use Gails with Comprehensive thinking style:
- Verify Thinking Style: Ensure your Gail is configured for "Comprehensive thinking style" (this is the default setting)
- Initiate Analysis Mode: Start your conversation with "let's analyze these files"
- Wait for View Change: The interface will switch to a new analysis view
- Upload Large Files: Drop your large files into the updated interface
- Begin Analysis: Ask questions about the uploaded content
